Vidiya Sagar

Through Vidiya We can better our actions

In the near past bungas, taksaal's and other institutions have held a curriculum from the start of Gurmat Vidya during the time of Guru Nanak and Guru Angad. This curriculum then was given more depth and volume during Guru Gobind Singh Jees kavi darbaar , where paatshaah jee commissioned 52 different scholars to translate many intellectual works from their exclusive sanskrit or farsi languages to a more inclusive brij language with the gurmukhi lipi. Making these texts that were once ordained for the scholarly, available to the common person.

This summer we will be going through the Saruktavali Granth, a essential and and necessary literature to learn for anyone in the Gyani linage. Saruktavali is one the first granths taught throughout our history to vidyaarthis, allowing one to understand different topics and learn important vocabulary words to understand Gurbani.
